On the second day of the Dragon Boat Festival in 2026, Saturday, June 20th, I drove to the Jingpo Lake Scenic Area.
The weather was nice, not as scorching as the day before. There were very few cars on the road, and traffic conditions were good. You could drive slowly on some stretches without bothering anyone.
Scenic spot recommendation: Diaoshuilou Waterfall, a natural volcanic crater barrier lake waterfall. This single attraction alone is worth the ticket price.
Summary of the scenic area: Few crowds, beautiful scenery, bring your own food.
